The Shift
As life began shifting in 2020, our family decided to pivot. We started BEMI as a small, family-owned operation, driven by the idea of bringing fair pricing to essential goods during uncertain times.
Going Global
We grew rapidly online. Becoming verified partners with giants like eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, we shipped inventory across North America and even branched out to the EU. But something was missing—connection.
Coming Home
We were suggested to take a shot at serving our local area. We began focusing on the lovely Durham community and realized that meeting people face-to-face brought a joy that online sales never could.
